The Registered Director is the person responsible for the implementation and progress of the Rainbows organisation. She/he is the link with the National Office.
The Registered Director has a variety of obligations and commitments such as:
Informing schools, churches, hospices, and agencies of the availability of Rainbows in a given area, giving presentations to schools, parents, students, business communities, etc., organizing and presenting the Coordinator/Facilitator trainings, exercising care of all sites in her/his area
The qualities necessary to become an effective Registered Director begin with the sincere desire to be of assistance to those who grieve. A Registered Director needs to be enthusiastic about life, enjoy and trust people, be an effective leader, be organized and a good communicator.Rainbows is working hard to have a presence in all parts of Great Britain. The following list of Registered Directors shows how successful we have been so far. There are, however, still many parts of the country where Rainbows needs to have a Registered Director working in the local community.
